I will just make sure to leave the academy by 2:30 for our 7:30 flight. The Academy has an early bus leaving to the Colorado Springs airport which we didn't fly into but it wont be a problem for her and I to leave at that time since others will be leaving.

My only concern is I am taking my gps and I doubt it will register the E470 and I do much better with my gps.

Is it all pretty straight forward?

I'm from Northern California, it actually gets pretty chilly here. We have 4 seasons, no snow where I am at but it does go below freezing level. When my daughter went to Colorado in October she attended a football game when it was 18 degrees...now I am definetely not use to that!

GPS should pick up E-470. It's been there awhile--it opened well before I left Denver, and that was three years ago. It's easy to find in any event. The exit from I-25 to E-470 is down in the far south suburbs, so it's not like trying to find an exit in the middle of the city. And I believe E-470 will take you right to Pena Blvd., which takes you to the airport.

Just got back from Colorado. What a beautiful state...I want to retire there now. So sick of crowded California. We had perfect weather, in fact it was colder here when we got back.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! I hope I'm able to move back there someday--I miss the mountains.
