The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Chief Petty Officer Adam Brown, 36, of Hot Springs, Ark., died March 18 in Afghanistan. He was assigned to an East Coast-based SEAL Team.
