Yeah, Pet Talk is good, but there's other boards that are good too. Besides Pet Talk, I'm also member on a cat site, on a Finnish forum which has various sections, and of course, now we have our own forum. Many of you will be happy that I don't have so much time to come here anymore.

I copied Pet Talk? Excuse me! We have all Cat forum. Besides, Karen and Paul do not own the copyright to be the only people in the world to have forums. I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else about our forum, if someone decides to join, I'm glad, but I'm not loosing my sleep if you don't.

Pettalk is my whole world ; never ever will one hair on my head consider to turn my back to such a large friendly , caring , cute , bunch of friends & pets !!! Okay , I do post on other forums too , but this Pettalk is my favorite , my VERY BEST !!

I thought your site's format looked alot like the cat section of this site, but I guess that was not your intention. I don't know why you left, and I'm not glad you did, I didn't have a problem with you, I just don't know why you advertise on pettalk?

If you surf around and look for message boards and the software they use, at then end, they look a lot alike.
We haven't copied anyone with our forum, we can't help it that there's no other way of putting the words around like a section called Cat health or rescue. Naturally we have to use the same words. But it doesn't mean we are copying them. All thecat boards I've come across, have the same sections, not just ours. I welcome you to have a look of our forum too, but I guess you have made up your mind about it already. And, I'm not the only pettalker who has a forum, just so you know.

If my thread was inappropriate, I'm sure Karen or Paul will delete it then, right?

I didn't know others had forums, never seen any posted on here, anyone that does please pm me with the link, I would like to view it.

Happy holidays to you too! And, I don't have anything against you either, when you first posted a pic about Patches, I fell in love, he just is so adorable. I hope everything is fine with him and the rest of your furries.

thank you! I hope the same for you. Patches is fat now, and I put him on a diet, seems to be working.the others are okay(dare I say it?) except Callie, and her eyes are getting better, so far.

Good luck with the diet, Casper's doesn't seem to work... might be my fault though Here's hoping that Callies eyes get better soon.

Hey Casper & Kitty, I also LOVE your new board..just haven't been there much yet,,,but you wait, Ritzy has me going through finger exercises so I can get "limbered up" for our visits to the Cat's Palace!

It's a really cool site! If you haven't visited it yet, it's all wonderful, including the links to Casper and Kitty's page if you ever get withdrawal or don't see enough of their adorable faces here! It's also very fast from what I saw so far....they did a marvelous job on this site!

And I have been researching bulletin board and message board sites too for my business website (thanks to some helpful hints from Patrick, Niina and even Randi) and they DO all look alike in many ways.

I say, the more the merrier! I wish some of the big name technology companies out there would do as good a job with their tech forums as Pettalk and Cat's Palace

I admire you Karen and Paul to run such a wonderful functional website: With several hundred thousands of messages, so many pix, no commercials.
I recommend your site to my colleagues from the electronic business (I am working in a company that does print and electronic publishing) to show how good, easy and well designed a forum can be!
