Where I live in Canada, we don't kill dogs at our Humane Society unless they're sick. If they've been there a while, they go to foster homes until they're adopted. I guess we're pretty lucky. I can't imagine dropping my pet off at the front door. How can people do that? Do they not get attached to their pets the way we do? Also, my vet won't put down a healthy dog. I just called him to find out. He refuses to do it. He won't crop ears either. Yeah!!!
