The past few weeks have left me scratching my head.

    Why are people so dumb?

Recently, there are some stories that have been widely circulated about issues and people that are so serious, they make me laugh.

IT's not the stories themselves, it's the reaction to them.

The Olympics are the first place where boorish and stupid behavior are given a pass.

We have one snowboarder who allows his bronze medal to be used a a prop for bad behavior on the streets of Vancouver. He lets a woman put it into her mouth and then simulates a sex act.

Then, you have another SBer that doesn't take off his hat, starts pointing to his friends in the crowd and makes like he's playing 'air guitar'- all this during the national anthem.

Most of the comments left on the news sites reporting these stories side with these idiots who can't walk the fine line between decorum and being morons.

"Oh leave them alone! They worked for it and are having fun, now!"

LOL, when these same AHs show up to apply for a job or they have to work besides them or maybe date their kids? How does the story change then?

They'll tolerate the behavior because it does not impact their home or life.

The moron apologizes to the people he needs to, then voluntarily goes home.

What do you say when your home town cancels your parade? Or, they do go thru with it, then catch hell because the upstanding people in your town have a problem with you representing?

What do say to your parents?
"Hey mom, that girl just wanted to PRETEND we were doing stuff!"

A great first line for your obituary? Joe Smith, bronze medal winner in 2010, died today. Smith, who is remembered for the salacious photos taken of him simulating a sex act after the medal ceremony, never recovered from the scandal....

Can I bring up the ice skater and the issue with his wearing fur?

This guy acts like a complete fool, starts taunting the idiots from PETA, goes back on his not wearing fur, fears for his life, then complains about his not being able to stay out side of the Olympic Village.
Next? He insults the judges and cannot figure out why he skates his arse off and gets crappy scores...

    What about this?

I wonder if Justin has heard that prospective employers are searching the internet - looking to see what job hunters have done in their previous lives.

I've read of cases where a person seeking a job has been turned down because of something stupid they did on line - maybe years ago.

I don't know if he should have been suspended; but I think he should have had more sense than to plaster it all over Facebook. He may be a high honors student, but he sounds like an idiot to me.

    Justin Bird.

He has every right to 'hate' a teacher.

But, should someone post an internet blog about how he's a four-eyed nerd that is stupid?

The parents will sue the school because they didn't protect Baby Huey from all the bad students out there.

    STFU!

I saw an interview with the mother and she said she wanted to punish the kid.

He's a 4.88 GPA student...LOL, when I was going to school they stopped at 4.0 and passed the kid to college-from mid school.

So, you are going to punish the twerp that you go to to program your phone, show you how to record on your DVD player and helps you learn how to get the HULU Page on your computer?

    PLEASE.
