A very happy Pet of the Day to you, magnificent Isis! What a wonderful way to start this Sunday, reading your heartwarming and inspirational story of rescue and recovery!
What a brave, beautiful creature you are; indeed, one stellar ambassador for creatures wild and tame, all over the world! And your devoted guardian, a shining example of the goodness and compassion we humans are capable of! I lived on Cape Cod for many years, where Red Tailed Hawks are plentiful. Unfortunately some do become injured, but happily find their way to a wild life rescue group on the Cape devoted to care and rehabilitation! I got a bit teary reading how you and your "sister" enjoy your visits to the beach, taking in the sunshine and sounds, the wind in your face...quiet time with the one who loves you most. What a wonderful second life you have been blessed with, and what a wonderful best friend you have found in your person, and she in you. Heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful people, and organizations, who had a hand in your rescue and recovery, most especially your devoted human sister, your soul mate! What a beautiful bond of love, trust and friendship you two have forged, and I wish for you her many, many more wonderful year together!
I can't wait to check out your links...and special thanks to your Mom for including so many fantastic photos...you are truly stunning (though I loved the one of you and your Mom the best!
) Much love to you on your much deserved day of honor, beautiful Isis!!!
