Just now getting caught up on this thread. So glad Grandma is better now (thank goodness for Taz!).
And I'm glad to hear there was nothing wrong with Angel's belly.
When I had Paizly "done" hers did get infected. It was obvious, greenish yellowish pussy stuff coming from the incision. I wasn't very happy about it, of course. I had her fixed at the shelter where I volunteer at a "low cost". Well it ended up costing what it probably would have cost at my own vet after the vet visit for the infection.
She also had a lump like you described on her incision. Now I can't even tell where her scar is at all. She was also my first female cat to be spayed.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Oh, no the snit is still going full blast! I've tried bribery with treats. She will eat them and run, specially if she thinks I'm going to be so mean as to pet her. sigh

Miss Angel! I don't think a snit with the meowmie who feeds and loves you is such a good idea.

Oh do I ever know how you feel! When Yodie had her collar on, she wanted to be w/me grabbing all the sympathy and spoiling she could get. As soon as that collar came off for good, who's Mom? She's still afraid I'm going to put that collar back on her so she keeps her distance. I really have to outsmart her to be able to administer meds to her, the little brat. Who sez cats don't hold grudges!

MoFF, how is Angel today? Is she getting over her snit? I hope so!

She is currently riding the back of my rocker recliner like a thrill ride!!! Chester taught her that. It rocks real easily. It's like their own amusment park ride!!!

We are making progress in getting over the snit. I was allowed to rub her tiny chin this morning.
