Mitzi - the news isn't good

I'm very sorry! There may be some comfort in the thought that she's with Mishi now, but she'll be terribly missed here on earth!

My eyes are leaky, very leaky. It's been my observation that even though we know when the time is coming, it doesn't make it any easier. It's so hard to be petless and RedHedd I know that you feel empty inside but like me, hopefully one day that special kitty will find you and you will welcomed to love again.

Georgia, I'm so sorry that Mitzi had to leave you so soon but I'm glad that her passing was a peaceful one and that she's now pain free and with Mishi. I'm sure that my RB Pepper and RB Starr were also there to greet her. When Tigger died it hurt deep down. Even today the pain is still there. Not as bad but still there and it shows when I read threads like this. Sending out my thoughts and prayers. I also lit a candle. So sorry for your loss.

I got the call that Mitzi's ashes are back. Unfortunately, because my boss is being an insensitive tool this week, I ended up having to work late and did not get the message until way after the vet's office closed. I'm so sad my little girl has to be away from me at least one more night.

I miss her so much; my house and heart feel SO empty. I have been checking Craigslist for kitties in my area.

Because technically the landlord does not allow pets (the building manager has imposed a don't ask-don't tell policy - most of us DO have cats), I can't go through the SPCA or other agencies that ask for the landlord's permission to adopt a cat to me, so I have to go stealth - which is how I got Goldie, Mitzi and Mishi and my next fur baby.

So, if anyone hears of a kitty in need in the San Francisco Bay Area, please let me know. I can't be fur-less forever and I know Mitzi will send the right kitty my way.

We are so sorry that we mised this thread.
Mitzis such a Beautiful and Loving Cat , and shes now found her niche with Our Awesome Angels Army in the Breakfast Scouts making sure that the places they choose have enough Great Food for All Our Angels.
Shes going to have quite a spread for Her Family in a Fantastic Place when you all meet once more.

Today is exactly one month since my Buddha girl went to the Bridge. I miss her Mitzi mitts and her fluffaliciousness. Marbles has a lot of catching up to do to get to Mitzi's level of .... um .... fluffiness.

I miss you, my curly girl. I hope you're playing hard at the Bridge and making up for all the time you were too sick to play here on earth. Be well, my little one.

I completely understand your pain. Mitzi is having a great time at the Brdge but your heart is still broken. I'm so sorry. Grief is the price we pay for love. I'm so sorry.
