The live feed on CNN.com just showed the dog driving away in the Animal Care and Control ambulance. So he should be OK.

    Puppies make the best friends

    I'm A Loki Dog!!!!

Once I spoke the language of the flowers,

Once I understood each word the caterpillar said,

Once I smiled in secret at the gossip of the starlings,

And shared a conversation with the housefly

    in my bed.

Once I heard and answered all the questions

    of the crickets,

And joined the crying of each falling dying

    flake of snow,

Once I spoke the language of the flowers. . . .

    How did it go?

    How did it go?

People were calling in to the news asking why they spent money trying to save the dog.

Part of the reason is that they don't want people to jump a-ter the pooch, to save the dog and it is practice.

The FF was taken to the hospital for the bites.

I couldn't think of the names of the channels for the life of me.

They are called 'washes' and they are part of the Los Angeles Phlood Control District.

If you scroll thru the pictures you can see the square 'rivers' that run across the city. When it rains those suckers fill up quickly and rise to within feet of the top. It's crazy to see up close.

I couldn't get it to pull up on the computer at work, so I'm very happy the little guy was rescued. The people who complain? I can't write that kind of answer.....LOL

I'm glad I did not see this on TV I would have been bawling!! I got tears in my eyes just reading about it.
I was on the phone with my mom earlier and had her watching the news for an accident that happened this morning by my work. She said something about the doggie in the water but didn't expand on it. This must have been what she was talking about.
    Glad the dog is safe!!

Ok, I was just watching the news and saw this report. I had to get up and leave because I started to cry!!

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
