I wore contact lenses for 21 years, got progressive lenses as my first set of glasses, about 6 years ago. The tech was amazed, I had NO trouble adjusting at all. I was READY!

Dad got them at the same time. He had trouble going down stairs; each step looks concave. Just do not look down at stairs, look ahead of you. I've heard a few folks have this issue with steps.

I've worn glasses for 6 years now, and still miss contacts.
