Watching the news last evening. A woman from Florida buried in the rubble of a grocery store, for 5 days. Yesterday she is rescued by a group of firefighters from Turkey and America. Talk about small world - the American firefighters were from the fire department in her city in Florida!!
This morning Dr. Sanjay Gupta is doing his original line of work, Neurosurgery, on the USS Carl Vinson.
NBC's medical expert, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, is also helping out the sick and injured.
I don't agree with this at all. I remember after Katrina - it was ordinary people who came to help.As sad as it is to say, I don't think us Americans would be able to overcome, survive or help each other, like these he people have.
