rosebudfury - start a new thread with your question and you will get more responses. This one is over a year old! :-)
I would say take your kitty to the vet for a check-over.

That's ok and understandable. On some boards the encourage renewing older threads on similar topics. Here it can go either way, however many people will miss your question and respond to an obsolete thread title instead of the question buried within it.
I second the vet visit. In my Sabrina's case she had a respiratory infection or virus that cause her to vomit the white foam. She required antibiotics and cortisone to fix her up. Your kitty will likely benefit more and faster with a visit to her vet.
And welcome to PT.

I realize this thread is old but it looks like the people involved have some true experience about it.
My cat has vomited two days in a row and eventually only vomited foam today (saliva?). Now she has no appetite and won't drink water.
It's Saturday evening and I can't get to a vet until Monday. Do you think she'll be okay, although a bit dehydrated, by Monday?
Any advice?
How old is she? Is this new? Has she eaten anything? Is she acting lethargic?
I know you said there are no vets nearby, but maybe try calling an emergency vet - there are two near me - Boston area - that have staff there 24/7, and might be able to at least hear you out over the phone and tell you what to look for.

astralis, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat.I'd definitely be calling an ER clinic and most likley taking her in to be seen. She may have eaten something that she's not supposed to or may even have something like pancreatitis like my Ziggy had. Hopefully you'll be able to get her some help soon. I'll be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.
When cat's don't eat they're usually pretty sick. And yes not drinking can cause some very bad dehydration.
If it was my cat I'd head to the ER if your regular vet isn't in, I wouldn't wait until Monday.

This is new behavior. This cat loves food, in all forms. She stopped eating today and shows no interest at all in food. I can open up a can of wet food, her favorite, right in front of her and she won't even look at it.
She still has a little bit of spunk but she seems to be slowing down. She's sitting in odd locations: dark corners.
She's is a young cat, probably right out of adolescence.
She's been vomiting for two days but the first day did not seem strange because my cats sometimes go through a spell of vomiting for a day (hairball, probably). But now it's serious.
