Have a wonderful day, Bertha and celebrate the honour conferred upon you. Many times when my brothers, Felix, Baby Rascal and I, Norman see the kitty who is Cat of the Day, we are astounded at how purrfect and beautiful our species is. Our KatMa says as a rule, felines are the most beautiful and wonderful creations of all of the fabulous species on our planet. KatMa is rarely wrong but in this case, like every feline everywhere, we know felines are the most magnificent of all.

Lots of kisses, purrs, snuggles, cuddles, mews and love from me, Norman the King and my brothers, the Princes Felix and Baby Rascal, outdoor kitty (someone abandoned him) Ebony who comes twice daily for food and "wee Kitty" who also stops by for food. Our KatMa can't figure out why humans (we can't, either) can abandon sweet kittehs, puppehs or any companion pet.

Well, it's time for you and Gracie, the other two kitties and your humans to celebrate the Cat of the Day -- Beautiful, beautiful Bertha!

Once again I'm astonished at the beauty of a formerly homeless, random-bred kitty! Maybe the Cat Fanciers Association should recognize the "Gorgeous Feral" as an official breed. I hope you're careful when you go out to call on your elderly hoomin friends, and enjoy your catnip garden. (Must be flourishing after all the rain we've had.)
