Tucky, you're a gorgeous kitty - and you're named after one of my favorite places! You knew you were just logging time in those "other" homes until your proper place became available; all a matter of time...

Congratulations on your COTD, sweet Tucky, and have a special, special day!

Congratualtions and a very happy Cat of the Day to you, precious Tucky! (Named after one of my favorite places on earth, I might add!) What a big, beautiful, fluffy boy you are! It's hard to believe you were the "runt" of the litter! No doubt you were just one of those late bloomers! I'm sorry it took you awhile before you found your way to your forever home sweetheart, but I'm sure you would agree it was well worth the wait! No doubt you and your person were destined to be together, and how blessed your Mommy is, having a beautiful best friend and furkid, in you! Congratulations and lots of love and cuddles to you precious Tucky, our very special and most deserving, Sunday honoree! Hope you're enjoy the happiest, most fun filled day, celebrating with your proud Mom and all of your adoring friends and fans!

Tucky, you are such a beautiful kitty! I would absolutely love one just like you, and I am not a Persian fan, but I am slowly warming to them because of the sweet, gorgeous. Persians on Pet Talk. Happy COTD!

Thank goodness for kind people like you

It just frustrates me to no end when I hear about people giving away their once beloved cat (or kitten) or dog (or puppy) because they become pregnant. How people can be so cold and unkind I will never know. The love and friendship that these furballs give to us - no questions asked - and then are just tossed aside (usually without a second thought) is unforgivable. Thank goodness this beautiful bundle of fun found a true animal lover in you - they should all be so lucky. To me there is no such thing as a runt of a litter because it is almost like we are blaming the kitten (and it is the kitten who suffers with this classification); considering the conditions surrounding the birth of so many kittens (under balconies, in sheds, etc. due to voluntary ignorance; cheap humans and greedy vets regarding sterilization) it is no wonder that they aren't all born healthy and thriving as they deserve to be. So please, anyone reading this who really loves these animals who depend on us - spread the word to one and all to sterilize their pets and give donations to animal shelters who are trying to do their best to stop overpopulation and the killing of healthy animals. And bless all of you who have adopted from shelters and rescues, instead of breeders, who are just adding to this situation that is out of control.
Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.
