Thanks Freedom. I love your large family! That's amazing!

I know; someone else mentioned same thing with maybe kitten being too active. Maggie is still playful but then loves her nap time, too! Yes, I am looking for a male. I will let you know what happens.

I have had good luck placing kittens with senior cats. Just do the intro slowly. One time I adopted a 3 month old out to a person who had a 13 year old female. She decided that he was HER kitten!

    Thanks, Smokey the Elder,
That is what I am thinking with Maggie - that she may adopt it as her own. I just read an article on dogs and cats grieving the loss of a soulmate. One of the signs of grieving is clinging; another crying, not eating. My cat has both the first two signs, but her appetite is great. Thanks again for your feedback.

I tend to agree with Freedom!!! Maybe if you gave your cat more attention and affection, she will enjoy her senior years as queen of your home.....just something to ponder....

I'm glad to hear that you're ready to open up your heart and home to another kitty. I agree with what everyone else has already said but I also have another suggestion. If you want to adopt a kitten then maybe you should consider adopting 2 kittens. This way your older cat can play and interact with them and then when she wants to sleep she can have her quiet time away from them because they can then play together while she's sleeping. Just a thought. Good luck.

    Hi KB2YJX,
I do give her lots of TLC as I'm retired. We have play time, and I talk to her all the time. It's at night I notice she's still crying for my other cat. It's been a year since my other cat crossed the RB, so I'm not rushing into anything.

    Hi,
Oh I wish I could adopt 2 kittens, as I just saw two Siamese kittens that are siblings. Someone is thinking of adopting both, so I hope it happens. I would not want to separate the two of them. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment, and it's a 2 cats limit. I am lucky though, as most apartments here only allow 1 pet, not fair, but apartment rules. One of these days I am going to have my own house. Thanks again.
