It's tough, I know, but as you say, you're also a little relieved. When you have that kind of chaos in the house, your world gets turned upside down. Schroeder will soon be in his new permanent home. And your last sentence is heartwrenching. We all feel that pain at some time in our lives. It's as though there's a hole in your heart and in your world.
