    Ive used it for 5 or 6 years, and I have never had a problem. Its pretty lightweight, updates daily, and its free.

    It uses less resources then AVG.

    I have used Avast for years and it stop things BEFORE it gets onto to your computer.. A alarm goes off to warn you a file or whatever is infected before you download it.. Done saved me a ton of times.. Nortons let them in when I had it, Avast slams the door in their face. It is the BEST anti virus I have used to date!

    I prefer to use Foxit as my PDF reader...takes up less space than adobe...just don't use their toolbar lol.

    Ad blocker. Far and away the BEST free thing I have ever located!

    When I go to a friend's and sit at their computer, I just can't beleive how much I am "missing!"

    Photofiltre - It's a very simple and good photo editor with some nice features built in there.
