Calling all Catmobile Passengers to Chicago - Nov. 21

Oooooooh! Meowmie's Firefox wasn't working the last two weeks so we've been Out Of The Loop.

We sure are glad we found out about this trip in time to get Back To The Loop!

We're all ready already! Chi-Town, HERE WE COME!

OK - Kitties, arrangements are set. This will be a quick trip, so we won't need any special provisions (unlike the World Series trip - that was SOME TRIP-longest yet!), so you can pack light. We'll be staying in the Catmobile-bring your pillow!

We'll arrive in Chicago (with a fully stocked Catmobile; thanks Groucho & Mom!) on Friday, the 20th, for a dinner at Morton's (by request of the Found Cats in Catada). We have a spot reserved on Heron, which is halfway down the Parade route, right at the corner of Michigan Avenue. The mounted police horsies have us on their radar, so we'll be well taken care of. On Saturday, we'll be taken out for breakfast by none other than the Master of Ceremonies for the Parade - Mickey Mouse! Won't that be special! After breakfast, we'll take a walk over to the stages and listen to some music. There will be cheesecake demonstrations by Eli's Cheesecake (yum!) with samples! We'll enjoy some other goodies throughout the afternoon at the Signature Room's chef demonstration of holiday treats. Then it's on to the parade - the lights, and the fireworks! We'll close the evening with a special meal, then its nighty nite in the Catmobile.
Sunday morning we'll begin with our prayer breakfast, then on to the shops for a little while (they'll all have special holiday deals) and we'll be on the road Sunday afternoon.

The Found Cats , Porch Cats and Our Awesome Angel Army Companions are glad that they are going with thier Best Boy and Lady Cat Companons to Mortons, they are all going to be Sharp Dressed Companions that night!!!

And The Found Cats will bring Pouches of Sheba to bide thier Hungry Friends over on the way, and some Deluxe Potato Chips to put the Sheba On.

Hi fellow kitties!

Sorry for the delay getting back to all of you. I've been trying to finish up a few things at Cat Court and I'm helping Meowmie with a complicated case she has at work.

The Catmobile will be here late tomorrow afternoon. Soncat will help me pack it up. I'm thinking of maybe leaving Thursday morning so we can have a nice, relaxing trip to Chicago. What do you think? Pinot, does that work for you?

Aroara, you can bring whatever you would like to share with everyone. When it comes to snacks, we're not a picky bunch. I'm so happy that you'll be joining us again.

For anyone who wants to come but hasn't checked in yet, there's still time. Just call or e-mail Pinot or me. Anyone coming by plane, the charter flight can still pick you up but we need to know by tomorrow.

Cassie, what should we bring to wear? Is it cold in Chicago? Do we need jackets or raingear?

The weekend forecast is partly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s. A jacket with a hood would probably not be a bad idea.

Thursday would be fine, Groucho, we could take some time and check in at Cassie's for that night (I assume that's OK with Cassie's Mom??) before the festivities begin. Has JJJ heard from Lady Edwina? I hope her Mom is letting her go (and Eddie, too); she can't miss the shopping on Sunday!! Sparkler, are you all set to buddy up with Aroara?

Come on kitties! I need to hear from you ASAP (me or Groucho) to put you on the route!!

Of COURSE I will, I will be delighted to take care of Aroara! She will be in good paws. You don't need to worry about a thing, she won't do anything I wouldn't do!
