Camera help please!

Just kidding, but anyway - I have a Nikon Coolpix ...something forgot the dang number. But anyway - I've dropped it so many times but it's still in pretty good shape and it still takes great pix So, I like how Nikon lasts. My Canon lasted really good too and my Pentax was a GREAT camera but broke less then a year after I got it through no fault of my own.

Canon or Nikon definitely would be my first choice of brands.

I have a Cannon Power shot and I LOVE it! Small enough to go in a purse or pocket, takes great pictures and video and wasn't $200!

My advice would be to not buy a Kodak.

Stop in at the Library and check the Consumer Reports article on cameras. The Reference Desk will help you find it. I usually make a photo copy so I can read and refer to it at my leisure till I make my decision.
