I like blues, rock and classic (especially Bach).

I perform jazz (old style standards and such) and folk so those are closest to my heart, but I will try anything once! I really love to listen to world music and anything that is extremely different - I enjoy being shaken to my core by something I have NEVER heard the likes of before, even if I don't particularly want to hear it often. High School faves Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Joni Mitchell. I absolutely ADORE Peter Gabriel and old Genesis. I like ambient music a lot too - stray sounds and meditative music. . .didgeridoo, drumming, flutes. All that!

I like anything except hard rap crap, heavy metal and whatever it is called when they just SCREAM their heads off.

I listen to alternative in my car. Bruce likes classic rock. But we also enjoy country.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Many kinds; mostly whatever New Age is called these days; classic rock, classical, Renaissance era, Baroque era.

I'm with Karen - just about anything. But my faves are

    Classic rock
    Oldies
    Contemporary Christian music
Classical music (two of the CDs in my car are Conni Ellisor's "Blackberry Winter" performed by the Nashville Chamber Orchestra and a recording of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos that I bought for $5 at a used music store)
    Jazz and big band music
Israel Kamakawiwoʻole (Bruddah Iz) - you might be familiar with his recording of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
