I just got off the phone with Dr. Berard. He told me that she seems better since giving her the antibiotics, although she's been walking in circles with her head tilted. He's keeping her another night until the blood results come back. I asked him how much a CT scan would cost and he said $1,000. THAT I don't have. He told me that as long as she's responding to the meds, there's no need to do one at this point.

I'm relieved that my baby is getting the best treatment possible. What's another couple hundred dollars I don't have? As long as she comes back home to me.

Walking in circles definitely sounds neurological. That's what my Creamsicle did at first; it's all she could do and she still does it when she gets excited. Hopefully, Maya Linn will continue to improve.
