Clindamycin is supposed to be very bitter; maybe it upset his stomach after awhile. When Moby was on it, she drooled very badly, but tolerated it OK.

Yes, it is very bitter but if you refrigerate it and administer it when very cold, it helps to take the bite out of it.Originally Posted by smokey the elder

That's exactly what I was doing but I could tell that Storm still hated the taste of it. When it was at room temp. it smelled like it had a lot of alcohol in it but when it was cold you couldn't really smell it as much. Storm seems to be back to normal now and he was extra hungry last night. He still needs to gain a little more weight back so I don't mind feeding him some extra food.Yes, it is very bitter but if you refrigerate it and administer it when very cold, it helps to take the bite out of it.
