How do I delete Windows Live Messenger?

I could deinstall it in the start menu, under system control (not sure it's called that in English ) and then software.

Blue, I was SO excited to see that. I went through the steps.

Odd, it never asked me to restart. Oh well, I shut down and an hour later came back and restarted.

Messenger is STILL THERE!

I ran it again, now a little blurb of a white box pops up and disappears before you can blink twice. It does nothing.

Using that link, I tried to disable it instead. Followed the steps and . . . it does not APPEAR in the list!

Sometimes I hate Microsoft. Other times, I REALLY hate them!
