Well, I've had the first check in from Pinot the co-pilot and things are going according to plan. They've picked up most of the kitties at this point; they'll be stopping at LaGuardia for Lady Edwina and a few others who chose that airport, then they'll be headed for the Franklin Hotel in NY City Center. There will be a wine and cheese event where the kitties will get to know the VIP's (other than themselves) staying at the kitty friendly "european style boutique hotel". Pinot chose the accomodations for the European style. Then, it is breakfast tomorrow, on to the Met. for a special visit before they hit the ballpark...

Mine called in... the sweethearts are delighted to reunite with their Beloveds:
Elmer and Taccoa...
Sydney and Scrappy2...
Bob and Amy...
Poppy and Poppy...
As for Sparkler.. she hasn't got anyone lined up yet (at least not that I know of), so I can't even begin to imagine what sorts of mischief she might be getting up to.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

A presentation of the splendors of Japanese art at the Metropolitan Museum from the Neolithic period to the present.
A quick garden tour at the Cloisters, then...
Fashion in Art (1:45) - FOR LADY EDWINA!
"Fashion in Art" is a cross-cultural guided tour that focuses on the ways in which artists have used clothing to express identity and influence from the 6th century B.C. through modern times.
That will be it for the Met., then on to...
"The Top of the Rock" - the observation deck on the top of Rockefeller Center for a special reception where they'll enjoy a wonderful view and a bite to eat.
Then, the Catmobile will take them back to the Franklin, where they'll have a quick catnap and get ready to play ball at their private box for the World Series. The box is stocked with all kinds of food and drinks for them to have a great party!![]()

Just had to share this, as my husband is on the couch and I'm in the recliner - watching the game - the Phillies get a home run and my husband says, "Did you hear it? Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow....no, I'm serious, listen!"![]()
