It's actually going very well. He has been a distraction to Moo which is good. MooShoo usually tries to antagonize Casey but hasn't since he found a play bud in Eli. Which is good since Casey is sick and doesn't need to be hassled.
The rest of the cats could care less. He's really starting to come out of his shell personality wise. He and Moo go chasing each other through the apartment and wrestle. It's so cute to see the two of them. I'm so glad it's working out.

This may fall into the dumb question category (let's chalk it up to ignorance)......
since Moo is follically challenged...do you have to worry about him getting hurt when he wrestles with Eli? What with no fur for Eli to grab on to? Or is his skin pretty thick -- literally speaking?

That's a very good way of describing his physique. His skin is soft and he feels like a suede hot water bottle. He gets scratched now and again, but for the most part, he and Eli and easy on each other. Although last night I did hear alot of "kitten" meowing, which probably means Moo had him in a headlock. No bloodshed yet.follically challenged

It's so wonderful that you were able to keep Eli and that he and Moo have become fast friends.
Momma Zam says hello to Eli and that she is very proud of him.
I love the pics of Eli in the cat tree.
Hopefully I'll get to meet all the other furbabies in person someday.
