Lilac did get to eat yesterday. I peeked out the kitchen door window and Winnie was on the old table on the porch and Lilac was sitting on the top step. I was hoping those two were becoming ok with each other. When I went outside though, Winnie went for Lilac.
I caught Winnie in mid air and put her in the kitchen because my indoor babies were shut out of that room, just in case Winnie ran in.
I fed Lilac while Winnie was inside. It worked out great for them but I was outside with no coat on. I did have a longsleeved flannel shirt on over my tee shirt though so I was ok.
After Lilac ate, she left but when Winnie came back outside, she went looking for her. I think Lilac was long gone by then though. Lilac didn't show up today.
Please, Gini, no saving angels award for me. There are still Winnie and Lilac that aren't settled yet.
Winnie got inside again this morning. Chester was in the kitchen this time. They skipped the hissing and went right to the growling and circling. Winnie was in the stiff neck, head tilted pre-attack mode when I got her by the scruff of the neck and put her outside.![]()
I sure hope she settles down but she shows no sign of it yet. sign
Chester has been hissing at anything and one who moves since then, even me! so no award for him either!![]()

I'm just so glad things are moving along so well.
I wanted to ask about the other cat, Lilac? Does she still come
