According to a newspaper article, Nora has been named Cat-of-the-Year by the ASPCA.
An excerpt from the article quotes the ASPCA as saying when announcing the award, "Nora is a talented example of how shelter pets - far from being cast offs - often make the best animal companions."
Nora, a 5 year old gray tabby was adopted by Betsy Alexander of Philadelphia
from a shelter in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This sweet kitty has appeared on tv programs and even inspired a composition by a Lithuanian conductor.
