[Queen of Poop]

Thank you everyone. Sasha has had loads of walkies, hugs, kisses and has eaten like a queen today. All of her favorites. Spaghetti noodles, weiner, cheese, rice. And of course loads of her favorite doggie treats. She is smiling as she stands here watching me type this. We will be heading out for yet another walkie right away. But then she will try to lay down, she's become a bit of a contortionist today trying to get in a comfy position. It breaks my heart to watch. She's mostly enjoying her day.

I was remembering when I found her, at the Calgary Humane Society. She was behind door number 1. She barked her fool head off at me. But when I went inside she hid in the corner. She's come a long, long way since then. I'm so lucky to have been found by her that day.

On top of everything else, you have to contend with this pain too.... I can't imagine how it feels..... I'm so very sorry - those words just don't seem to cut it... My heart breaks for you.

RIP sweet Sasha. You are loved so very much and in return, you showered your Mommy with all the love she could handle. The Rainbow waits for you sweetie. Have a safe trip and please look for Toshie. He will show you around.

I'm so very sorry, my heart goes out to you. We just went thru this 2 weeks ago too. Such a difficult decision, but its one that is driven by love, and wanting to free her from pain.

If there's a camera handy, take a couple pictures of you & her together, you'll be very glad you did down the road.

Picked up her urn. Got a card from sweet Michelle. She's onto a new life to and leaving town. We will miss her at the vets. In all, a very sad occassion, with tears free flowing. I will photo the urn tomorrow in the daylight. My baby girl is home now.

I'm glad she is home with you. Sadie is home too - her urn in a bag next to me as I type. I'm not sure where I'll keep it - in my bedroom for now. I'm not even sure how I feel - still pretty numb I guess.
