OK Richard, it's your turn to gloat. I honestly don't know why Charlie Manual took Pedro out. He said he wasn't tired and has pitched 9 innings before. It all fell apart after that and, of course, Chase Utley made that horrible throw to Ryan Howard ruining that double play which would have ended some of the mess. *sigh* Well it's back to Philly and the cold! LOL!

I have the feeling that the Mc Court marriage deal will have a little to do with this crash.

I can hardly wait for the post season stories about the LADs...

THe local media are treating it as a non-story. Most of the coverage are general stories taken from the wires. That should be interesting when the writers feel comfortable enough to write about it.

MLB's bylaws say that their can only be ONE team owner. The MC C's both are stating that they are both part owners.

Richard will just have to bear with us for a while Ellie! My brother e-mailed this pic to me today. I liked it a lot because I used to work in the PNB building on the 24th floor and my view out the window was Billy Penn.
