Tried it once becuase some friends made some, I think it was the chick pea one. Can't say it tasted bad but it wasn't something I would make. Still prefer peanut butter . Maybe I'd have to let the taste grow on me.

In the store, there are so many different flavors and brands. I didn't like it much when I first tried it. The next time, I loved it. I had to acquire a taste for it for sure. Once I figured out the best flavors and brands, I can't get enough of it. Keep on experimenting, I bet you'll like it.
The one I like the most is in a red, round, short carton--about the diameter of a cool whip bowl. It has a small see through cellophane window on the top. The name escapes me.![]()
I've been Boo'd...
Thanks Barry!
I love hummus and there is always a container in my refrigerator. The ingredients sound like they are quite healthy. Roasted red pepper is my favorite flavor, but there is a real spicey one I like too. Occasionally I try other flavors - black olive, garlic.

My husband is fond of hummus; I have only tried one or two, years back, and didn't like it. Maybe I should try again with different flavors!

GO RAVENS!!
I wasn’t aware that there are so many kinds of hummus, there are certainly a lot to choose from here. In the second link are pictures of what it looks like.
The one called Holly's hummus looks a lot like the one I buy, but it could be totally different.

love the stuff.....often use it as the "dressing" on a vegetarian sandwich rather than mayo or mustard.....yummy
Thanks to PCB!
I have had it, loved it and now I want some!! I will have to check with my son as he makes some that is so yummy - with canned chickpeas, lemon, garlic and peanut butter![]()
i made some over the weekend -with curry and cumin and peanut butter, shallots and garlic.
It is sooo nummy!
I made it a few years ago and don't think I added anything to it - and it was ickky - glad I gave it another go!
I cooked the beans for about 5min and I think that helped with the creaminess.
I might try this recipe as well, tho it technically isn't hummus.

Staci- I have found that nuking the beans, in the liquid, always make a creamier batch.
I do want to try the white bean hummus, too. The only thing I dislike about making it is the stupid tahini sauce is SO hard to mix well.
