I'll second a few others' words-- I've had several "elderly" cats with CRF who lived LONG and happy lives with sub-cu. fluids and occasionally meds- two Siamese, especially, who were my parents' cats and whom I inherited when my parents passed on- one came down with CRF at age 14, the other at 16- the first lived happily til 19, the second to 20-1/2, and at OVER AGE 20 the second one climbed a tree in the back yard! They were happy, active girls their whole lives. THERE IS LOTS OF HOPE for long, happy, good-quality life for cats with CRF- I wish your Woody all the hope there is-
