What (not) to wear? Sunny Rest Resort pictures (no nudity)

Thought I'd post some pics I took of the resort now that it's closed. I wanted to get the pool in the early morning light, but they had already covered it for the season . It is such a pretty pool, I'm disappointed you can't all see what it looked like during the season.

Here's our cabin on the hill. It's in a state of repair. Dave's been working on it since last year some time. It still needs a new roof and some new boards on the outside, but the inside is done.

view from the top deck overlooking the pool. normally this is filled with deck lounge chairs. there are only small areas to walk in between the chairs down to the pool.

It's very nice to see pictures of the resort. It isn't quite what I pictured, even though nothing ever is. I am not really sure what I thought it was like, but now that I see pictures, I should go back and reread some posts that you made. They'll be more in context now. Thanks for sharing! Did you ever say if you got the job at Lane Bryant? Off to find that thread and see if I missed hearing about it!

I figured it wouldn't be what anyone really pictured, lol. It's lush and green and a campground resort... not a 5 star hotel like place (even though the owner would like to THINK it's 5 star with the fees she charges people, lol).

Lane Bryant... yeah... that didn't go as well as I thought. I'm not a sales girl. I'd be happy with just a job at a cash register at this point, lol. I tried Barnes and Nobles and Borders, but they don't ever call back. It's like they think I want to get a manager job or something because I"m a librarian, but all I want is something small and part time. It's frustrating.

hey jenn....been thinking about nudists and cold weather....any updates? how much is the heating bill? LOL

we're going to a halloween costume party tonight.... I'm going as eve, lol. THERE IS A COSTUME!!!! It covers me too, lol. I got it on a website called Hips and Curves, which has some nice stuff for plus sized women of all ages.


We closed up the cabin for the season, cut off the electric, so the electric bill will be minimal, lol.

Suffering from cabin fever!!!! I'm turning 40 this weekend, and Dave turns 40 next weekend, so we're trying to decide what to do for our 40th birthdays. It's a milestone, lol, so it MUST be celebrated!!!

I'm thinking a winter bbq and hot tubbing! At the resort of course!!!


Any idea for a double 40th birthday party for nudists?!
