Yes, I concur w/freckledimple and Gill. My Coco Puff went deaf temporarily; he has regained most of his hearing but he went from being a fearless cat to getting so spooked that he wouldn't let me near him. When he finally became a little adventurous, he parked himself in the middle of the foyer so that (I think) he could see in all directions. If I or any of my Fur Posse came too close for comfort, he hissed and became agitated. Get your little baby to your vet. He could have ear mites that are causing deafness and that can be remedied. Or it could be an ear polyp. Or it may be something else entirely but until you have him checked out, you won't know. Prayers are going up that it's something simple that can be quickly taken care of. Please keep us posted and please....keep the faythe.
