Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
PT prayers have worked miracles before so I hope that we can do it again.I'm glad to hear that Tigris is still being feisty and is giving headbumpies. That's a great sign.
He continues to remain in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care. (((HUGS)))
Barbara and Siegmar: I am so sorry to hear such serious things are happening with Tigris. I hope the Vet can figure out a way to keep him comfortable and happy while you sort things out and get a better picture of the situation.
You all will be in my thoughts. Lots of positive vibes coming your way.

We still do not know much more. The analysis of the fluid is back and they say they suspect a tumor. That's more or less what we knew before.
Trude the vet was here this afternoon and gave Tigris another pred shot. He is quite happy, jumped on the table to greet her and did the same for me when I came home. At least he is not in pain and feels good.
The vet says only FIP, or the heart (which is already excluded) or a tumor could be the cause of that fluid ... All three of us are very glad that Tigris is in such good shape although we cannot explain it. I tend to think it is Pet Talk prayers.
So it's a CT on Monday. Siegmar and Trude will drive Tigris to the clinic and then we should know more. Tomorrow it's another pred injection.
Thank you for all your support. It's more appreciated than I can tell.
The best news of all is that Tigris is his happy self!
Again, because of this I am hopeful that whatever it is can be relatively easily treated.

It is good that Tigris is feeling good enough to jump on the table to greet the vet!!!
I recall you posted that his liver enzymes were off in his bloodwork. Does the vet think there was anything going on in Tigris' liver, ascites comes from the liver not functioning properly. I will light another candle for Tigris....
Fingers, toes and paws still tightly crossed...
Having to wait for the results is the worst right now, but whatever it will be, I hope it can be treated. I'm so glad to hear Tigris is being social and doesn't seem to be in pain.
Kisses to Tigris - and lots of positive thoughts!![]()
