Being responsible pet owners, we take steps to protect our pets and in the process protect the other pets waiting to be seen. Our cats are in a carrier like other small pets. Dogs are on a lead and I've seen many of them muzzled. At our vet's, I've seen the owners of aggressive dogs wait outside until they're called in.
