    So sorry to hear about Casey. I was silently following your other thread about her. Its just to hard to make the decision.. I know we experienced it with Zeke a few months back. Its easier knowing they're in a better place now.

    I'm so sorry to hear this. You did the right thing. She knows that you did everything you could for her and that she was very much loved. Now she's at peace and running with many other dogs at the Bridge. RIP sweet Casey. Please take care. (((HUGS)))

    I said "oh no" along with the others as soon as I saw the thread and then the beautiful picture of her along with the dates 1996-2009 gave me the chills. You are right...she had a long and wonderful life and was truly blessed. Thank you for giving her that, as well as a humane, peaceful and loving death. She was one of the most beautiful yellow labs I have ever seen and I'm sure she already has a bunch of boyfriends following her around Rainbow Bridge.

    I'm so sorry you had to let Casey go. I know how hard that is, but it's what you have to do when you know it's time. Casey knew, too, they always do. Thank you for giving her a wonderful life.

    I may be fairly new-ish to PT but I loved looking at pictures of Casey, she was a beautiful dog, and will be forever missed.
    You did the right thing, she is now looking down on you and your family.

    I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Oh dear, I feel so terrible because I have just read it
    I know beautiful Casey will be missed, but it's good to know she had 13 big years of a happy life in a home where she was loved and cherished.

    I'm very sorry to hear about dear Casey. It seems like we were just getting to know her, she seemed like such a sweet dog with a heart of gold. Rest in peace sweet Casey, you'll be missed.
