I think he finds it easier to drink the water falling down his face than to lap the stuff coming out of the tap.

I thought the same. The water out of the tap is at a higher pressure and might be painful, so he gets it off his head. Who says cats aren't smart?

I wish mine would let me blow them dry or vacuum them. The was a vid of someone blowing their cat dry.
