Oh my goodness!! Funnel cakes are one of the WORST things for you, and one of the BEST tasting. Every culture has a version. They're fried dough - strands of fried dough made into a wonderful concoction!

Guess now I know why I don't know what they are. Sounds like it could be a last meal , leaves me out of the tasting contest I guess.
And they think french fries are bad......< G >

I'm sorry for giving a few of you a craving for funnel cakes! I would gladly send you all some... I just couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't have a few bites taken out of it.

Oh, and I hardly ate a dozen of them. I would have exploded if I lived up to that idea.

Leftover roast chicken in a sandwich, strawberry jello, and pecan shortbread cookies. Washed it all down with half a can of Pepsi.

And to think, for years I cooked a big meal every night for my family. How times have changed.

I have no idea what this/these are but would like the recipe.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Meatloaf with garlic/cheese mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, ceasar salad. I also made broccoli rabe with sauteed onions and garlic for John.

I guess this is better than my dinner yesterday which was popcorn.
I make a huge dinner for my brother. I rarely eat dinner, but this looked good if I don't say so myself!
