Dawn Dishwashing soap.
I have used that on occcasion. It really strips the oil out of hair and is a good once-in-a-while shampoo, Hey, if it's good enough for animals that have been stuck in oil slicks?![]()

I know the fishing boats in Cordova carry Joy in case of fuel spills.
It may not be the strawberry shampoo in itself but the change. I am a specialist in thin hair unfortunately and I notice if I use a thickening shampoo on a regular basis the thickening substances will weigh the hair down. So I have about 3 shampoos and change daily. I'll always make sure to have one that is said to strip the hair from other product residue (I am not sure about brands in the US but Neutrogena may have some) and make sure I have one against dry hair and one for more volume.
LOL That'll work!
I thought I was a low maintenance gal because I use some cheapo knockoff brand of Head and Shoulders, until I heard that my sister uses bar soap!
I had to laugh when a friend commented on my shiny hair and wanted to know what salon brand I used. You should have seen her face when I told her! I love her, but she's as high-maintenance as they get. I think she has a different shampoo, scrub, gel, lotion, and/or potion in her shower for every body part!
Cheapo is best!
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.
