Congratulations Carmen and Kari! What a head of hair Laura has! All the babies are so cute. Be careful - now that baby has arrived time really flies! We need to make a list of the 2009 babies born - it's hard to keep track of them. Leslie - Quinn and Vince are so adorable. Since I seem to follow closely behind your pregnancies I was wondering if you are done or going for number 3. Just kidding, I am done, 2 is more than I can handle!

Here is a recent pic of Stratton at 3 months. He's still a big boy - at 2 months he weighed over 15lbs and was over 25 inches.

    Stratton is so handsome!

I have been posting photos in the thread Leslie started for Clara's birthday, but I am going to post a couple in here later today!

I hope everyone is doing well. We are adjusting really well and loving every minute with Clara. She had a doctor's appointment today and has already gained all but two ounces of her birth weight back! She gained 6 ounces in two days!

Awww, hi Stratton! What a cute little baby boy.

Lyra finally had her 6-month well check today. She was 26.5 inches and 16 pounds, 11.5 ounces. She got scared of the nurse after she measured her head...then things went ok until she had to get all her shots. She was crying in a way I had never heard her cry before!! It was so hard to hear. But, she's doing much better now and is taking a much needed nap!

I thought I would share a few pictures of the last week or so.

    Playing with some toys.

And a video of her laughing...

Oh my! Lyra is beautiful. Thanks for posting pictures and for the video. I couldn't get any audio but it was very cute! She has gorgeous eyes. So big and full of expression.
    Daddy is a cutie too!
I am so sorry she got scared at the 6 month check up. I am dreading the first shots for my little one. I hear they cry and cry and get a fever too afterward.

I have a question for the mommies:
I don't have any medicines in the house for baby Laura.
What do I need to have in the house over the counter 'just in case'?

Infant tylenol is always good to keep on hand. Mylicon gas drops are awesome, I would have gone nuts without it. The walmart brand works just as good as the name brand IMO.

Ahh is Stratton so adorable!!! I'm so glad to see a pic of him. I'd love to see more Oh and about more kids, nope we're done! My husband got steralized to insure no more babies happen and we're hoping it does not fail us We're got our little girl and little boy. A perfect little family. We don't have the house size or finances to have any more children so hopefully we don't have any accidents hehe.

I absolutely love the baby pictures everyone has posted!!!

Leslie I guess we do have the same plans. My hubby hasn't been "snipped" yet but that's our plan. I think my body has been through enough so he can take care of this part. (Maybe snipped isn't the right word but I like it, I'm sure my hubby doesn't!)

I will be 9 months pregnant tomorrow.
Baby is becoming VERY active. It's like she's never asleep now. I started getting very sharp cervical pains lastnight. I am hoping she'll hold out a few more weeks (I still say she'll be born Oct 1st! lol). Most times I'm rather comfortable, and then suddenly I'll be very uncomfortable for several minutes. I think lately she likes to change positions. Walking is becoming an effort because sometimes it's only easy to walk with my legs spread apart...definatly have that waddle perfected.
Otherwise everything has been good here... we finally have carpet in the nursery and I just finished putting together the dresser. Still have to put together the crib and change table.
I'm starting to get very anxious to have this baby, I just want her OUT lol.
    I've been BOO'd!

I can't believe you're in the ninth month already! It sure has come up quickly! Heck, I can't believe Clara is two weeks old!

If you have windows, make sure to air out the nursery, new carpet is full of chemicals! I think it's actually formaldahyde (not sure I spelled that right!). Some of the crap they use to preserve or clean stuff is just crazy! I can't wait to see pictures of the room when it's done, I hope you'll share!

We took Clara in for her 2 week appointment today. She got a clean bill of health, and is growing really well! She's already an inch longer (22 inches now!). And, she's at 8 lbs 3 oz! She's a great eater! She got her heel pricked (just like when she was first born) and was really unhappy about it!

We took her and three of the dogs for a walk today, it was nice getting Finn out! He did pretty well walking next to the stroller! Good day so far. I even nursed her publicly for the first time at Target! It was a little awkward because she was hollering and fidgeting, but I managed to do it without showing any boob! I love my carrier, it is the best!

I have some news to share with everyone. I'm pregnant! I am 12 weeks and 2 days. Estimated due date is 3-17-10 by my last menstrual cycle. I had my first sonogram today and baby is measuring consistent with my due date. Heart rate was 159bpm and baby is 6.8 cm. I'm doing well myself, I have had no nausea or vomiting so far. I haven't gained any weight either so that's good as I know it's coming soon enough. Baby was moving around quite a bit so doing the measurements today took a bit to complete. It was strange seeing the baby move on the monitor and not yet being able to feel it move inside.

I am excited to be joining the ladies who will be having a baby in 2010. I'm not going to find out the gender, I want a surprise on delivery day. Hubby would want to know but I'm staying strong with my decision and he's okay with that. I have a feeling it'll be a boy since there are so many males in my family so why not add another one. Hubby thinks it'll be a girl.

Without further delay here is baby Bahmann also known as "roo" for right now. "Roo" as in kangaroo (since baby is in a pouch kind of).

Yes I've been leaving the window open, and the air purifier has been going non-stop. I'm so paranoid about the chemicals. We're getting the carpets cleaned next week, but hubby doesn't want to do the baby room because "it's new carpet," so I may have to fight with him a bit about it..He doesn't think chemicals are a big thing. I have a Bissell carpet cleaner, so I've been researching what to put in it to kill any chemicals (if I lose the battle with hubby LOL), but I can't find anything over the internet that everyone claims is the "best" for ridding of chemicals. Atleast we didn't use carpet adhesive/glue, we just stapled it down, so I don't have to worry about that..
Does anyone have any suggestions for what to put in the carpet cleaner? I always put a bit of vinegar in it, just to stop any mold growth that might start from the moisture. I was thinking of just using my natural laundry detergent, but I really want to find something that is well-known for getting rid of chemicals, and just can't think of anything. I have alot of all-natural dog shampoo too, with lots of essential oils.. I should look up the oils and see how good they are for this..

I hope everyone's pregnancies/ babies are doing great! I wanted to share a few pictures (well maybe more than a few...) because Lyra is now 7 months old! I can hardly believe it.

Lyra loves it when we go hiking in the mountains. These pictures are from Friday.

But she got tired during our long hike...

Then a few more that I've taken over the last week.
