    How come that's called Hurricane Cake? Any idea? Doesn't seem like something you could make if the power was out, or featuring much in "tropical" ingredients ...

    Karen, in my search I found that cake was originally called Earthquake Cake, but I can't find a reason for either name! I don't think I'd be making it in either situation!

    RICHARD, could I have a DOUBLE hurricane, please? I'm beginning to gather together the things I want to take with me. The big move should happen about next monday or tuesday.
