Maybe you are on to something - could your husband give you a rest and maybe feed him more often? He may be suspicious of you and "what's in his food". When he is feeling his old self again, your feeding him won't be a problem.

Gosh, you have my prayers for this boy - I understand completely your frustration, love and concern. It is like you will DO ANYTHING, ANYTHING, to get them to eat!

With my kitties, I sure have been there, done that.............

C'mon Killi Man! You've gotta eat!! Star insists on it!! I'm sure your mouth must feel ouchy after your toofies were yanked. But just a little...pretty pleeeeeeeease??? But the good news is you're feeling more perky! And tell your Mommy that Cody and the puter gods conspired the past day or so to keep me from posting my "tale!" It's coming!!

Sue, I am so sorry Killian is going through yet another episode of problems with his mouth, but he is still here with you and that is evidence of what a fighter his mom is.

I had to laugh at Phred suggestion of the red wine as Hannah is forever trying to snare some when I leave a glass unattended on a table next to the chair. It amazes me that she can lap from a stemmed wine glass without tipping it over, and then look ever so innocent.

I agree with Karen, your house sounds like the best place to land when one is sick. Move over Karen, even though my cold is now gone, that kind of mothering is too inviting.

Please eat something, Killian. You need to stay strong to fight the nasty germs. We love you.
