THANK YOU!!!! What a fun surprise to come here and see this thread.My birthday was a little 'messed up', but overall it was a FUN day! My hubby took the day off work....but because I didn't know that he had, I agreed to babysit for one of my best friends while she had a serious of doctor's appointments (7 hours). Then there was a mis-understanding on timing with my parents (too much to go into on this thread), and Mark wasn't able to join us for my birthday dinner, so I was sad about that. No presents, but life isn't about THINGS, its all about relationships, right? And i had a good visit with my brother & his family and my parents, all of whom I haven't seen in six months.
AND, we have been having a deck built on the back of our house, and they were 100% done at 4:00 in the afternoon! So Mark & I sat out on the deck, in the cozy romance of citronella candles (!?) listening to the frogs and crickets chirp until 11 pm. What a great ending to a great day!
