It wouldn't hurt to try the B-12, right? I'm not sure how much good it did for Taz, but Tracey (krazyaboutkatz) is the one that suggested it to me. She had good results with it.

Does Sir Max like catnip? If he does, you may let him have a bit to play in before his treatment. It calms cats down who need to travel too!

Well, I am sorry that Max puts up such a fuss when it is time to give him the fluids. Sure sounds like Spunky!!!! It is good that he is eating, that is always a good sign!!! It sure sounds to me that Max is not going any place, and you will have a few more gray hairs(I do not know if you are old enough to have them!!!). Personally, I like when they fight....it was so depressing when Raven STOPPED fighting...HUGS to you and Max....

Slick, I'm sorry to hear it's a problem giving Max fluids, but as someone said, it's good that he has the strenght to put up a fight, and also that he eats.
Capnip might relax him a bit, so you should try that too. How about giving him the fluids on sunday ( when you're less stressed), tuesday and thursday?

How is Max doing, especially in this disgusting heat we are having? Do you have an A/C? I'm leaving my fans on all day, keeping all the blinds shut and I am freezing water bottles at night and leave them out for the girls to lay next to during the day.
I am thinking of you often!!
