I am saddened to read of all of the very insulting epithets by which you address your beautiful cat Scooter. Your cat has consented to allow you to live with him/her. Your cat is a superior being. Yet you insult him/her daily with these absurd and disrespectul monikers. I have two 15 year old cats and they have been treated with the utmost respect. Our household is without any behavioural problems whatever and I ascribe that, and the intense empathy and awareness shared between the humans here and the cats who live with us, to this mutual respect and love.

That having been said, your cat is lovely to see, and I hope that you take my serious comments very much to heart. I have lived with cats for going on 70 years now, and most everyone has remarked down the years at how amazing is the various cats' demeanour and awareness.

Indeed, I am deeply hurt to read of how you insult Scooter. Bethink yourselves! Nowadays you laugh and ridicule Scooter when this cat greets you as you return home, flopping on his/her side which is the cat's way of showing affection for you. The cat invites a petting and a kind word, not a laugh and another insult. Please! This cat will not live forever. You will come to regret many of these things when the cat is no longer there showing affection for you. Scooter is not there for your jibes. You ought to be honoured that this cat allows you to live with it.
