Time is running out to vote Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge onto the AL All-Star team. He's vying with four other players in an online race. The deadline is 4 p.m. tomorrow.

You can vote for Inge, who would make his first All-Star Game, at www.tigers.com/vote. The game is July 14 in St. Louis.

The Detroit Tigers have teamed with the Philadelphia Phillies to encourage fans in both cities to vote for Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge and Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino in the 2009 All-Star Game’s Final Vote.

Fans can vote for Victorino online at www.phillies.com. The winners, chosen by online voting totals, will be announced on MLB.com shortly thereafter.

Well I voted for Shane SEVERAL times! The funny thing is that you can vote multiple times. If it wasn't for Shane hitting that last ball last night who knows what would have happened. I am too old for this kind of excitement at the bottom of the 9th! LOL!

I've been voting for both of them since yesterday morning - and last I heard, they were both in the lead. BTW, they are referred to as Bran Torino, a play on both their names.

After nearly four days of furious voting and lead changes, we're down to the final two hours of the record-setting 2009 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote. Both races remain up-for-grabs as the 4 p.m. ET deadline approaches with Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino and Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge still holding on to leads, so every single vote of the millions being cast matters.

Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge and Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino are your choices in the dramatic 2009 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote, comeback survivors of the closest overall balloting in the history of a four-day event that decided the 33rd and final roster spots for the 80th All-Star Game on July 14 at Busch Stadium.

Fans smashed MLB.com Final Vote records and ultimately they decided on the two first-time All-Stars whose respective clubs forged a voting alliance after seeing Inge and Victorino in second place on the second day. The Tigers and Phillies called it "Bran-Torino" and those two words would become campaign fixtures.

It was the first time in Final Vote history that two players won after trailing in each of the first two voting updates. The alliance unquestionably mattered, as fans in Detroit voted heavily for Victorino and fans in Philadelphia did the same for Inge.

Vice President Biden and his wife are at the Phillies game right now. They are in the stands just like "ordinary folks" except they seem to be in the front row right behind home plate. Unfortunately the Phillies are taking a beating right now.

Well Biden stayed for the whole game and it's a good thing he did. THE PHILLIES SCORED FIVE RUNS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE NINTH TO WIN!
