I have two, and that is what is allowed in my apartment complex. I know the manager pretty well and if I got another one, she's keep quiet about it. She has five and we always have fun when we start talking about cats!

The most that I had indoors was 8 but I'm down to 6 now since Peeka and Puddy went to the Bridge. You'll be fine once you get a routine going which you probably already do anyhow.
