My flooring project is DONE!

Those are beautiful!! We have original hardwood and it's worn and torn. We'd love to get new flooring but that's not in the budget for a LONG time.

That is brilliant, I just love those floors. I'm hoping next year when we decorate to have floors just like that. All the moving around was so worth it!

When we switched from carpet to similar flooring it seemed like we expanded the rooms.

How did your Dad do during all this? I think my Mom would get very confused.

Well, the rooms do seem larger, Oyster, but that could be because I removed all the "junk!" We didn't have carpet, just refinished existing hardwood floors and replaced the one really bad hardwood floor.

Terry, Dad did OK as we didn't touch his bedroom at all. That got new hardwoods when I bought the house, before we moved in.

The new floors look great. The one good thing about home improvements is that you're forced to declutter at the same time. I did this when I got new carpet.
