I agree with you both - half way. Blue does seem to be obsessed with me.

I now avoid posting in threads he starts or responding to his outrageous posts in other threads as I don't want to encourage his obsession. But he seems to be unable to control his desire to post in threads I start or respond to.

I am a bit too old for him and he is definitely not my type.

I wish he would understand that!

Aww - come on ES. I'm not so old that I don't remember how those crushes go. You fight with each other outwardly so everyone thinks you hate each other, where if the truth be known, it's just the opposite. Ok - you can at least crack half a smile - that's easier on the facial muscles than a frown.

I remember how I absolutely hated puckstop - I felt he was a know-it-all pompous a$$ - and I went head to head with him. I've had a change of heart tho. From my observations I've seen that he appears to be a very intelligent man, great family man, and a man with the courage of his convictions. He might still be a know-it-all pompous a$$ for all I know, but he has a lot of other admirable qualities. That doesn't mean that I have to agree with his posts, but I see no point in trying to knock him down either.

I just checked the "deleted thread" - one of those powers I have as a moderator. blue, Edwina's Secretary did not mention Harry Truman at all in that thread, and neither did anyone else.

I will now take the pledge. I have...as Sparky suggested put blue on ignore. Elsewise I might wait for an apology for what he said in the original thread and an apology for calling me a liar in this one. And somehow I know it won't happen.
