I may have broken my foot update...I can walk again!

I don't even want to say how long its been since I have had a real bath.

I had my husband buy a plastic lawn chair for the shower but I haven't attempted it yet. My biggest fear is getting hurt further. If anyone stops by to see my I go spray on more cologne and tell them to stand back

We got our new refrigerator delivered Friday and I can't even play with out or organize it or anything. Hubby has been doing very well but you know a man's idea of housecleaning just isn't the same.

I don't know how high your cast is...but when I was a kid, I broke my leg and had a cast from toes to just below my knee.

When I had a bath, I would just hang the one leg outside the tub.

For a shower - how about heavy plastic and duct tape to cover the cast?

I remember my surgery two years ago...I went in hosp Monday and showered Thursday morning...and it felt GREAT! So I understand how you are feeling in the clean dept!

I hope you find a way to freshen up soon, for your own sake.

How about getting a little risque' and asking hubby to shower w/you. That way he can reach places that you may not be able to and he'll be there to see to it that you won't fall.

As for house cleaning, it's only dirt, which all of us will be buried in one day, so don't even worry about it.
